Morning Program - 2009 - 2010
We are beginning our 7th year of Morning Program at Lura M. Sharp. Staff & students will celebrate their love for learning with the theme “The Places We Will Go”. We will explore the many real and imaginary places we can go through literature, careers, technology and our imaginations. In addition, students will continue to learn and explore different character traits each month: responsibility, respect, citizenship, kindness & empathy, perseverance, self-discipline & empowerment, diversity & tolerance, cooperation, honesty & fairness, and pride.
Morning Program gathers our school community
each day except Wednesday for 20 minutes of singing, learning, and celebrating
together. Our intent is to build a strong and caring community of students and
staff, and address academic skills at the same time. We also want to build increasingly
stronger bonds with parents and with our Pulaski community. Family and friends
are invited and encouraged to attend the program. Please take some time from
your busy schedule and join us. Start your day on a positive note!
